ABOUT :
AZ Scientific LLC was created to continue my love and passion for scientific illustration, which began as early as I can remember. In 2020, I graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Medical Illustration, where I took a range of courses in science and art and technology. During my time at OSU, and after graduation, I have always jumped at the opportunity to illustrate scientific content: for a range of different disciplines. Past work includes ecology illustrations published in scientific journals such as NCBI and PNAS, created for universities such as OSU or MSU. In addition, I have worked with numerous independent researchers and museums to illustrate everything from paleontological fossils, to gas chromatographs.
I love to research before illustrating a project and have even taken an additional step with independent research – (pertaining to chemical visualization techniques) which Is currently undergoing peer-review at a scientific journal (ACS). Alongside this work, I love enjoying nature with my work as a backcountry field guide to Arches and Canyonlands National Park, and watching the birds outside my window.
Although graphics can be produced in a range of different media, including traditional pen and ink or watercolor mediums, they are typically created using digital media (Adobe Software) to generate scalable vector graphics.
I would love to hear about how I could illustrate your next project! Feel free to reach out anytime via email (below) and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Or, have a look around the website and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any thoughts or questions I may be able to answer!
Thanks for Visiting…….
